Bright reds, soft purples, and a forest green sofa can all be found in the New York home of Top Chef host, Padma Lakshmi. The Indian-born American author, actress, model, television host and executive producer has brought touches of her heritage home with a beautiful use of color in her modern, white apartment. Art also takes center stage, with large-scale pieces in both the living and dining room. This is one gorgeous New York abode, with a strong sense of personal style.
Filled with character, Padma Lakshmi’s house is a carefully curated space. The unique coffee table and artwork are collectibles from different places, while the oversized lamp and chandelier provide soft lighting to the room.
A miniature dining table was specially created for Padma Lakshmi’s 5-year-old daughter Krishna.
The French wooden dining table was sourced from a vintage store in Queens called Golden Oldies. Artworks by Kim McCarty and Henri Matisse hang on the brick walls.
Padma Lakshmi’s kitchen is an open plan and functional space where the TV host and food writer practices her recipes.
